Jan. 23rd, 2010 07:34 pmFinally finished going through our Canadian Living Cookbook, 1987 edition, that we got in 1995 from Chris' mom. Our first cookbook as a couple We just got the newest edition (2001) for Christmas, and have gone through the old, literally-falling-apart-at-the-seams edition, taking recipes we liked from it, and reading the notes we made on the margins in the last fifteen years. cinnamon x 2; double batch only; yummy!; Daniel loves; takes too long; bland; vegan!; less chili. We never wrote "for enemies" for any recipe, but the book has been well-loved nonetheless.
And now it will be recycled. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, fiber to fiber, and Circle of Life :)
