ciroccoj | Bruised but not broken

Right shin visibly larger than left, as well as awfully bruised. Feels terrible. Can't kick or even kneel on that side. Kicking and self defense was notsomuch today. Possible X-rays in my future.
Still hacking up a lung, but not as badly.
It's always gratifying when your kid says, "That was EVEN BETTER than I had IMAGINED! And I've been looking forward to this ALL WEEK!!" about a field trip to a couple of local restaurants. Even better when he says it to the mom who organized the trip :) :) :)
Nobody, but nobody, does bad acting better than the Japanese. Their Godzilla movies elevated it to a high art. It's breathtaking, especially late at night, when you're trying to get to sleep but cannot look away from The Horror.

Godzilla himself is kinda cute, comparatively speaking.
I keep hitting "Zoom Text." Optometrist in future too? I wore glasses between ages 21-28 or so, when my age-related optic deterioration did some kind of weird canceling-each-other-out thing with my innate slight optic deficiency, and gave me 20/20 vision once more. I think aging has finally won out.

Then again, I think that every year or so, and get told I'm close enough to 20/20 every time I get tested.
I think I'm almost done with the downstairs. I've been on a mission to go through every shelf and surface and floorspace and storage space to weed out anything we don't need, locate things that have been lost for years, and properly store everything else. Just went through the refrigerator freezer. Um, ew.
Upper floor, here I come!
