Atheist that I am, the sign outside one of our local churches never fails to amuse or touch me in some way. They change about once a month or so, and it's almost always something witty or insightful. My favourite: "Hatred and intolerance are not family values." During provincial election time. When the public space in front of the church was full of political signs, including one for the Family Coalition Party of Ontario.

The Baptist church down the street says "Anyone can honk-- tithe if you love Jesus." Another church had a sign at Christmas that said "Jesus is the rizzle for the schizzle." Which was... odd.

Aw, all we ever get on our local churches is "Potluck supper, Thursday" and "Music Sunday 05/04" and "Jumble Sale! Bring Donations!"

There's a church in Kingston that uses that sort of sign. Very clever and sometimes thought provoking. And probably given to them by some website, not thought up by them.
