Camping for four days? Marvellous!

Quite possibly our best camping trip in years, and we've had many good ones. We were almost completely alone at Murphy's Point - saw about four other groups there the whole time - and we have got to do this again. Camping during the week, in the sort-of-off-season. I actually didn't want to come home; normally, even on our best trips, by the time the third day rolls around the joys of showers, flush toilets and real mattresses outweigh the pleasures of communing with nature. Not this time. Not that I'm not glad to be home, but I could've happily stayed a few more days.

And now, off to deal with our smoke-scented camping clothing and gear. That part is not so joyous.
