Today reminds me part of why we home schooled the kids for so long. Two days into the school year, Justin has already gotten into trouble twice, and we've already gotten an irate call from his school.
He was at school too early. Twice!! This behaviour is not acceptable!
You have got to be kidding me.
So, off to figure out some diplomatic way oftelling them off explaining the situation so that Justin won't get into even more trouble for the offense of scholarly eagerness. Bloody hell.

Date: 2010-09-10 06:22 am (UTC)One of my nephews just started grade 2, and I am SO GLAD. He had a terrible teacher last year that made life miserable for him and his parents. He went from loving school like crazy to faking sick to stay home, he meshed so badly. Now he's back to loving it again, and the new teacher said (not in so many words, clearly, lol) that she thinks the other teacher was basically a nut and centered him out because she's a control freak. So at least that's good? I think?
On a lighter note, I'm 20 minutes late to pretty much every class I'm in, I don't suppose they'd like to trade? ;)
