Minor fashion disaster averted

In the dim grey of my bedroom in the morning, my navy blue pants look black. In the dim grey of my bedroom in the morning, my aqua/teal shirt seems to go well with the black pants.

In the harsh light of day, both observations prove tragically inaccurate. Good thing I checked before leaving the house.

LOL! Good one. I'm waay worse than you though. Let's say I'm challenged when it comes to fashion and leave it at that. I've gone to my kids school dressed in a pink top, blue jeans, black shoes and carried a red handbag to tie it all together. *headdesk* And no, I didn't check myself to see if I stepped out of the sets of 'what not to wear all together' before leaving the house.

I've been dressing in the dark too. It's an adventure every day. Really, it's one of the hardest parts of trying to be a professional. Pretty much every night I think, "Wait, what am I going to wear tomorrow? What do I have left? And how many more days can I really go without ironing those pants?"
