I can't believe I'm on the same side as Glenn Beck, Meghan McCain, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Laura Bush, Barbara Bush, and Dick Cheney on this issue. And on the other side as Barack Obama.

The issue is gay marriage. The first group doesn't oppose it. Obama still does. Not passionately or single-mindedly, but he has stated in the past that he does not favour it and AFAIK has not made any statement to the contrary.

Dude. I'm on the same side as Glenn Beck. I feel sullied and unusual ;)

I prefer to think of it as those folks being on my side of the issue but preferably not standing too close.
