Spiritual Matters
Apr. 22nd, 2011 09:30 pmHappy Earth Day! Happy Good Friday!
Showed our respect for the environment by cleaning our house. I don't know what was behind our bedroom bookcase, and I don't want to know. The important thing is, it's gone now.
I don't know what our kids are going to take away from their upbringing in terms of religious/spiritual matters. For example, today, as well as living the maxim of Cleanliness is Next to Godliness, our TV viewing was Jesus Christ Superstar and an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Also a short discussion of how my parents once told me that they "tried to be good Christians, without necessarily believing in Christ", and why I kinda think of myself as an atheist Christian.
Amen :)
