My e-mail address has been hacked. I've apparently been sending people spam e-mail about finances & stuff.

Hate. Hate hate hate hate.



OK, does anybody know what you have to do when this happens to you? I've had this e-mail address forever, and really don't want to change it :(

I've seen some responses on Google but if it's hotmail, people usually end up having to change it, so far as I know. But here's Microsoft on what to do:
