My house smells red

1. Picked four huge baskets (16 litres, 4.2 gallons) of strawberries, half picked by Justin and the other half by me and Daniel
   
2. Washed and hulled about half of them
   
3. Made first batch of (slightly runny) jam
   
4. Currently baking strawberry bread
   
5. Currently baking white bread
   
6. Chris fixed the barbecue (he thinks)
   
7. Will be delivering jam and bread(s) to Karen, whose idea it was in the first place and whose little guy picked a lot more berries than my big guy ;)
   
8. Will be making at least one more batch of jam and another loaf of bread
   
9. Hamburgers and a whoole lotta strawberries on the menu for tonight :)

So glad Karen thought of strawberries this year, because we almost missed it entirely; today was the last day Proulx is open for berries.
