Firefly v. Criminal Minds
Sep. 25th, 2011 04:45 pmSo, Firefly was cancelled after 14 episodes, and as I re-watch them, I mourn the fact anew and am kinda glad I wasn't watching any TV when Firefly was on, because it would've broken my heart to see it cancelled.
Criminal Minds has been on for seven seasons. It's even got a spinoff.
Now, I like Criminal Minds. It's my guilty pleasure. But I'm watching this year's premiere episode and...
I'm feeling like Justin when he watched the Friday video and groaned every other line and at one point said incredulously, "Oh my God she's explaining the week!"
And I know exactly how he felt. You know how one agent used her wit and eloquence and passion to get her team out of really deep trouble, get them un-suspended and reinstated and not charged with about a dozen actual crimes, not to mention oodles of FBI rule-breaking?
She recited the FBI Oath of Office.
And this show is on its seventh season, where Firefly barely got one.
