Good Morning George, How Are You?
Dec. 8th, 2003 09:38 amTop o' the morning to you all!
Does anybody know why it's "top" of the morning? And when that top supposedly occurs?
Watched The Princess Bride with the boys last night. Man, I'd forgotten how good that movie is.
And Sarah, you were right. They loved it. Justin wasn't that much more enthused than he is about any good movie, but Daniel was totally enthralled. He was actually vibrating during the swordfight scene, and during the final scene with Count Rugen. And yes, my guys finished their day chasing each other around the house shrieking "HALLO!! My NAME is INIGO MONTOYA! You KILLED my FATHER! PREPARE to DIE!!!"
Chris rearranged our study last night so that the computers are against the wall with the window. The room looks and feels a heck of a lot brighter, and I get a glimpse of the clear blue sky as I sit here. I was a little skeptical about this, but by god, he was right. It is a lot better like this.
Ah well. Enough procrastinating, it's time to get

Great movie
Date: 2003-12-08 08:19 am (UTC)Kids are devouring a Disney movie called Snow Dogs. They've watched it 6 times in 4 days (weekend and all). It's a charming, harmless movie, about a black dentist from Florida who goes to Alaska to claim his inheritance and turns in to a 'musher'. Fewer sterotypes than you'd expect, but it naturally ends in a marriage, because you wouldn't want Sandra to think that it was possible to triumph in life without a wedding. Sigh.
