::gulp::

I can't find my RJ list.

See, I know this is really, really obsessive (although I prefer to call it "dedicated"), but I keep a list of stories that I hope to rec months in advance. That way when it's time to rec, I never have to frantically scour the internet for rec-material; I just look up my list and contact the authors with requests.

Until this month. I think I deleted my list. And I have absolutely no idea what was on it for this month - or any other, actually. I think there were a couple of old stories from apocrypha, one from LawAndOrderFanfiction (I think), one from t100/+, and one from somebody's individual site.

Does anybody know the title of a Lennie Briscoe piece about 29 days in rehab or something? I think that was one of them.

In other news:

For the [livejournal.com profile] thursday100 "trade f-lists" thingy, I tagged [livejournal.com profile] kahlia so I read her f-list on Saturday. Although I forgot to not read my own. And I didn't leave [livejournal.com profile] kahlia's f-list any comments. My bad.

I did learn a few things, though.

  • [livejournal.com profile] kahlia's f-list is small. I gather she has not been on lj very long. [livejournal.com profile] kahlia, if you're reading this: welcome!
  • There is something called Underworld, that is/was being screened.
  • (I cheated and also went to Kahlia's f-list on Sunday.)
  • There are people (or rather, at least one person) who think Vincent D'Onofrio is hot enough to lust for. I sure wish I'd first seen him as Bobby Goren, or as anything but the Egger the Bug Suit in MIB. Because that kind of killed his sex appeal for me, although it did make me admire him as an actor.
  • Shannen Doherty has questionable acting skills. Not a discovery, but a confirmation.
  • There is an ad with drowning children in it (???!!!) on TV late at night.
  • Fox Mulder is still hot.

And in still other news:

  • So glad ADR is almost over. We have one more activity to do tomorrow, then seminars to attend Wednesday and Thursday, then we're done.
  • I have lots and lots and lots of opinions re. ADR and lawyers and the law in general. But not the coherency to write them all down comprehensibly. Most are not complimentary, though.
  • Got my Property mark. 77.5%. Considering I'd had about 3 hours interrupted sleep in between helping Justin throw up all night, I'd say that's not too bad. I did think I'd done better than that, but that was probably just sleep deprivation messing with my perceptions.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one Cirocco-- I'd say that was pretty damn spectacular! I'm constantly amazed at how you keep so many balls in the air, and make it seem effortless. Go you!

I love Shannen Doherty. I bow down to her most excellent bad-ass-ness! And she's got great hair...

Oh, yeah. ADR is definitely quite counter-intuitive after you've been exposed to the "Cult of the Law." Me, I figure that it's sort of like the Wise Old Chinese Saying (as gacked from Lois McMaster Bujold) "War is just diplomacy carried on by other means;" phrased as "ADR is just litigation carried on by other means."

Aww, see I could have confirmed the Shannen Doherty thing.

And I'm not sure Goren does much for Vincent's sex appeal, but maybe that's because I find him rather freaky.

I remember reading a Lennie story like that in Apocrypha, I think it was called "Thirty-Three Days." It sounds very familiar. (But I could be wrong, it's been known to happen. :)
