Promises is puttering away. Kids are watching Saturday Morning Cartoons and Chris is sleeping in. We hope to bike to Experimental Farm today to see some sheep-shearing, but I have to find out what time that's on.

Ah, Victoria Day Weekend. And for once, it's a long weekend and Chris is not on call!

Went to the sheep-shearing. Good time. Sun shining, kids happy, lots of animals, lots of people. The place was packed - it's Tulip Festival time and the Tulip buses stop at the Experimental Farm as well.

I love living in a city with a farm smack in the middle of it. And awesome bike trails.

And I love that Chris is actually NOT working this weekend! Whee! It's so great to actually have time together and not be stressed out. We really, really needed this.
