Woke up at 4:15 with back pain and was unable to go back to sleep because what feels OK for my back feels awful for the incision, and vice versa. So here I am, two hours later, having given up on night-time sleep and hoping to take a nap sometime today.

I'll have to try to work that in with seeing my mom too. I'm being reminded of what's important )

Get it? Bellyaching? Oh, I kill me sometimes.

Finally got around to HotSync'ing the Palm entries from my stay in the hospital. I'm pleasantly surprised - other than a few spelling mistakes, it's not too bad in terms of the overall gibberish/coherency ratio. Not much worse than usual, that is.

Anyway, enough sicktalk. Here's a meme gakked from [livejournal.com profile] medee6040:

It isn't a poem
Non curo. Si metrum non habet, non est poema.
"I don't care. If it doesn't rhyme, it isn't
a poem."
You are a type A personality. You like bright
things, you don't call in sick to work, and you
have devastating opinions about art.

This is what Chris got in the Latin Quiz:

If you only knew the power of the dark side.
Postatem obscuri lateris nescitis.
"You do not know the power of the Dark
Side." There are two possibilities: you
are a Star Wars geek, or you are unreasoningly
scary.

Is this at all surprising?

Oh, and Chris responded to this by saying, "Well, I am a Star Wars geek, and I wish I was unreasoningly scary."

"Hon... one of your floormates in first year thought you were actually Satan, remember?"

"Oh yeah, right!"
