to not sleep, perchance to write
Apr. 19th, 2004 02:11 amIt's 11:49pm and the Ottawa Senators have won. How do I know this?
heathers posted the following comment on her lj: "fucking Ottawa."
Sorry, sweetie. For what it's worth, I kinda wish the Leafs had won too. I'm not a big fan of the traffic jams, incessant hooting, and random appearances of bizarre flags featuring Roman centurions or something, who presumably represent Senators. Screw historical accuracy, because a plumed helmet-head is a little more manly than a head with laurels on it.
Later Edit: Actually, having done a little experimental combining of two of my great passions in life - history and computers - I gotta say, the helmet head is better.

Why am I doing this? I'm probably going to be up all night on this damn paper, which is only worth 30% anyway. Why?
Well, because I can be a perfectionist and frankly, this paper is kind of interesting.
Or rather, the topic is interesting. The paper itself is about as gripping as the phone book. But hey, I've sure learned a lot with this. I've learned how to navigate around the govcanada website, how to look up minutes of parliamentary sessions... actually, here:
