Easter Egg hunt this morning (I know, I know - we couldn't get it together for yesterday). Gosh, kids are cute when they're joyously frenzied.

Otherwise, rather boring day. Chris is on call and Laine took the kids for a few hours so I could work. My Globalization presentation is pretty much done - as is my essay, actually. I may have gone a little overboard.
Small snicker from an article: "[Morocco had] a dispute with Spain in July 2002 over the tiny island of Perejil." Which, in Spanish, means parsley.
Where were you born?
Parsley, Morocco. Yourself?
Mustard, Illinois.

Critical Race Theory paper is still meh.

I may need to buy the sheet music for the Lord of the Rings soundtracks. I've gotten the lyrics from the internets, and some of them, like Evenstar and Aragorn and Arwen's theme and Breath of Life, are accurate as far as I can tell. It's not dead easy to match the Elvish lyrics to the sounds, because they have odd phrasing and don't always pronounce vowels as you'd expect, but I've mostly got it. But most of the rest I have the lyrics, but for the life of me can't figure out how to match them. Like, the lyrics say something like "A Olórin i yáresse" but the singers seem to be saying "Uuu-eh-iila-ssioo-uuulo." Most frustrating.

bear. Basic plot is that Harry has come back from Florida, where he went to decompress for a few years after the war, because Hogwarts has finally been reopened. He and a few of his classmates are asked to be professors; he's teaching Transfiguration, Hermione does Charms, Charlie Weasley does Care of Magical Creatures (and his wife runs the infirmary), and Draco Malfoy teaches Muggle Studies (yeah, I know). It's not mostly a funny story, but it does have some very cute parts. Like the ( first day of classes )
