What will they think of next?
Aug. 9th, 2005 02:11 pmFrom Sarah, this has to be seen to be believed: No... I can't really describe it....
Walk This Way
Aug. 9th, 2005 06:12 pm- Stop at The Comic Book Store: good until Justin started to whine about not buying anything. Discussed the concept of 'window shopping' and the concept of 'and if you make window shopping unpleasant by demanding goodies, goodies are not forthcoming, and neither is another window shopping excursion.'
- Stop at H&R Block to ask about doing the taxes for my mother's estate: useless, as they've moved.
- Stop at used bookstore to see if they have the last Auel book and de Lint's Ottawa stuff: good haul! One Auel, three de Lints, two Jacob Two-Two books for $1/ea, and Isabel Allende's "My Invented Country."
- Stop at martial arts school to see prices & what they offer for kids: not useful, as they were closed.
- Stop at park: meh. I read.
- Stop at Dairy Queen: screaming success.
- Stop at other martial arts school: also closed. Website does not list prices or schedule.
- Stop at dance school: pretty good. People tap-dancing. Mildly entertaining to Daniel, a little frustrating for Justin since he wanted to see ballet.
- Stop at the top of the hill: nice. Good picnic, kids did some paperwork, I read.
- Stop at the pool: frustrating. Had to separate the kibbles and eventually pull Justin out altogether.
- Stop at home: lost my keys, and have been unable to find them, so that part's not so good either.
- Total time walking/biking: somewhere between 3-4 hours
- Total hours in the car: 0
On a balance, a pretty good day with some minor irritations.
bork bork bork
Aug. 9th, 2005 10:49 pmThis is just... damn. Wants it. Wants it, Precious!!
And it all works!! That's the beauty of it. How can you resist?
Oh and speaking of products with pictures online: don't ask me how (really, don't ask) I was just reminded of a post by one of you with a link to a site with... um... personal products. Personal inflatable products. But I can't remember the site and I can't remember who posted the link.
Help?
