Congratulations anyway, Olympic athletes, wherever you came from, and however you performed. Just getting to Vancouver was more of an accomplishment than most of us will ever achieve in our lifetimes.

Writer's Block: My word

I would choose my own! If I wanted to make a living with my writing, I might say Guy Gavriel Kay, or Kim Stanley Robinson, or someone like that. But I mainly write because there are stories I want to read that nobody else has written, or that nobody has written in the way I would like them to write. Changing my writing style to somebody else's would kinda defeat the purpose.
