- Total number of books owned
Oh, good lord. I cannot even begin to guess.
I would put it over 1000, though. Especially considering three completed degrees between us, a fourth on the way, and children's books. Our dream home includes a small library. - Last book bought
The Chrysalids, by John Wyndham. Which I was sure I owned, but couldn't find. - Last book read
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and/or Dragonfly in Amber, both re-reads in prep for a new book in the series. - Five books that mean a lot to me
1. Tigana, Guy Gavriel Kay, for the beauty of it and because I could identify with the children of exiles
2. Pillars of the Earth, Ken Follet, for the medievalocity
3. The Gate to Women's Country, Sheri Tepper, for the intricate three-story feminist subplot
4. Red Mars (Green Mars, Blue Mars), Kim Stanley Robinson, for the sheer intellectual weight
5. The Chrysalids, John Wyndham, because Blessed Is the Norm - Tag 5 people and have them fill this out on their journal
I think just about everyone I know has already done it ;)
