neonnurse: OK kids, who can tell us why the folks at NASA picked the Sombrero Galaxy as their Picture of the Day?
Today is May 5th, Cinco De Mayo, a day to celebrate Mexican pride. It's kind of like a Mexican St. Patrick's Day ;) - Incidentally, one of the things I often find startling when I'm in the States is how frequently I hear Spanish spoken around me. In Ottawa? Notsomuch. It's very cool.
- And, to follow the Hispanic theme of this post, what do you call an idealist who works at a laundromat?
Don Quixote de La Plancha.

On a related note, I seem to recall W. insisting, at some point, that Cinco De Mayo was on May 6.
