ciroccoj | TKD, Poverty, and Choir

Tired OMG.
Went to TaeKwon-Do at noon. They have a grown-ups only one hour thing, and ouch, it's a little intense, since there's only ever 3-5 adults and they're mostly upper belts.
Went to my International Poverty Class and was reminded of this girl I used to volunteer with. She was very dedicated and idealistic and was full of this righteous zeal, and sometimes when things were happening that she felt were wrong, she would say they made her feel "Physically ill."

It really brought home how deeply these things affected her, and really made people stop and think about just how wrong these things were, to make somebody feel physically ill... until she'd kinda overused the phrase one too many times and one of our friends muttered, "I swear if Candice says she feels physically ill one more time I'm gonna throw up on her myself."

Yeah anyway parts of my Poverty Class are making me physically ill. Still, good class. Excellent prof. Idealistic, yet snarky. Great combination :)
Choir. Love. Our next concert is Robbie Burns. We are not terribly ready. Although today, oh happy day, I found our descant section for Will Ye Know Come Back Again had expanded threefold. In that now, there are two other first sopranos also singing with me! Yaay!
