Have an enormous goose egg on my forehead. May have to take a picture of it. And Justin is missing a (small) chunk of his earlobe. Ow.

It's also snowing hard and bloody cold (-13.3C, -26C with windchill)(that's 8F and -14.8F)

Tomorrow: Sunny. Wind up to 15 km/h. High minus 20C. Wind chill minus 39C in the morning and minus 30C in the afternoon. (that's 9.3mph, -4F, -38.2F, and -22F respectively).

And here it's +38C now (at 1.20pm) and lately we've been getting our highs for the day around 5.30-6pm...

LOL! OMG OK, that's too hot. I'll just snuggle under my blankie tomorrow and drink lots of hot tea, and thank god I can just hide from the cold. Without air conditioning (which we don't have or want) there's no escape from the heat.

Yeah, I'm feeling very sorry for Chris and everybody else who's heading out of the house in the morning. Thank god for homeschooling! Our first out-of-house trip will be in the afternoon.

Klutz'R'Us. Justin tripped and fell and somehow hit the side of his head on the side of a low table (??!!) and lost a piece of earlobe in the process - I swear I'm getting flashbacks of Lennie/Mike/Rey/Ed trying to figure out bullet trajectories - and I was putting a glass pot lid cover back up on top of our pot rack and it slipped and whacked me directly above my right eyebrow. It's going to look lovely tomorrow, I swear.
