Shaking a fist at genetics

First day of Spanish camp, and Justin has a headache so bad I needed to come get him at noon. Probably migrainey. ::sigh::

Arggghhhh. Poor kid. Zack just had one yesterday. Did it take him long to feel better? Zack had one that lasted 4 days a couple of weeks ago. I finally noticed he had a 6 year molar coming in and gave him some advil. What helps Justin?

Oh god I can't imagine 4 days. Justin's a real little trooper, but it's so hard to see an active kid totally sidelined by pain. Poor Zack. Does he get them a lot?

Justin actually felt a lot better by the time he got home; by then he was mostly just feeling sick to his stomach if he moved around too much. He lay down and gradually started feeling better. Me reading to him helped; I think he also had a cold cloth, but no painkillers, although usually he takes an Advil or two.

Chris suffered from migraines as a kid too, and still does now. Damn genetics. I'm almost completely headache-free. Really wish I'd passed that on to Justin :(
