ciroccojIt looked like our connection was better, after Chris fiddled with it. It's notsogood again. So we go to call Bell Canada... only to discover that we can't use the phone either :(
Funny thing about modern e-life: we noticed right away when internet cut out, and I at least have felt terribly walled-off from all human contact. We only noticed the phone wasn't working when we went to call Bell about our internet connection. No idea how long it's been like that. We rarely call anyone, and are seldom home to answer our phone.

Date: 2009-10-05 06:36 pm (UTC)Yeah, that's the way it usually goes at our house, too. There were times before we had a cell phone when we had to walk to a pay phone down the road to tell AT&T that we were incommunicado and could they please FIX THIS.
Also, right there with you on the home phone thing. Whomever named it "home"schooling was sadly misinformed - we're never home!
