Got the link from my dad, and showed it to Chris and Justin, both of whom loved it and both of whom said we had to show it to Daniel. Start to show it to Daniel and he says he's already seen it; the math teacher showed it at school. Which is very cool.
He also ends up staring at one of the bubbles and says, "That big one, that's China. See that big dip? I wonder if that was because of Mao."
We checked. It was. The Great Chinese Famine, 1958-1961.
I love my kids. They're even geekier than I am :D :D :D
...and so, not to be outdone, I'm going to study up on Chinese history.

There are times when I know I am messing up, and yet don't know what else to do. You and Cris have done a brilliant job, and I for one, would love to know how you went about it.

It's not the kids who are at fault here, it's me. Also I want them to be globally aware kids and I think you've done a brilliant job there.
